Christmas was really nice this year, and traditionally every year I put up a list of random stuff I obtained, so here:
Xbox 360 Elite
Assassin's Creed
Halo 3
Sewing box
Japanese Colloquial Bible
Pen set
Knitting needles, bag and wool (I'm making a scarf!)
A deviantART keyholder, t-shirt and fella plushie (My mum noticed I came here)
A massive jar of assorted mints (I love this)
Various clothes and scarfs
A Cat-torch
£250 (I spent half on: TES: Oblivion, The Orange Box, Chupa Patterns, Tibetan Cookbook, Tibetan dice game)
Everything else has been fairly uninteresting, except my flat in Aberdeen got burgled. My flatmate lost her laptop, money and all her wrapped up Christmas presents, while I just lost my iPod and possibly some bank details (Though my account seems ok, so it must have not been crucial). They forced open the kitchen window and helped themselves, though worryingly her room was the only one which had a lock on it.
Also, my new years resolution is to give up ready meals. That's a big thing for me. Right now my cupboard, usually filled with snacks, is actually serving it's purpose and is now filled with rice, pasta, sauces, ingredients and all sorts. I must say, making your own food is a lot tastier, I'm hooked now. I've been reading a cookery book, and rather than looking at, say, eggs and seeing fried, scrambled or omlette, I see so many other possibilities, it's great. It may have something to do with the fact that the first chapter of the book was all about eggs, and the second all about cheese, and the third about potatoes, and I skipped the rest because they looked boring. So yeah, I can make almost anything involving those three, I'm guessing.
Oooh, and check out the Sacred Yak Dance in my recent entry: [link]
I went to see one very similar, it's very funny.

The city is afraid of me. I've seen its true face.
Contests are cool.

Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.
